Spellrow
Do YOU like strategy? Do you love roguelikes? Do you HATE Tic Tac Toe?
I sure do!
Spellrow takes Tic Tac Toe and aims to shake it up by introducing a lot of new variables to each match to let you create synergies I didn't even think of. Climb the tower, collect Marks containing power, augment those marks, and reach the end... of the open beta :P
This is only the open beta for what I aim to create, with much more options to make or break your deck, more strange fellows to reign victorious over (or lose to unexpectedly).
Some other planned content includes:
- Online Versus, so you can crash your friend's ego over your deviously concocted deck, or find out that they already know the counter
- Items, most roguelikes have relics, artefacts and whathaveyou
- Interactive Rule Codex, for all the small silly details on how the game technically works (or should work, if lil' me screwed something) so you won't have to ask dear Google for the wiki that doesn't exist
- Custom Content Support, have an idea for something YOU want in the game and want to do it yourself instead of relying on silly me to do it maybe? Well that is what this is for :3
- Achievements, I know some of you achievement gremlins love those, and for good reason
- Accessibility, a game that primarily uses colours to indicate things is not exactly colour blind friendly unfortunately, accessibility features are in order!
If you'd like to see this game's progress, point me in the direction of some bug or suggest ideas join the Spellrow Development Discord.
I plan to start posting updates on how this game is doing there occasionally.
I hope you have fun playing Spellrow
